The scanner reads vein patterns beneath the skin surface, so surface moisture or dirt doesn’t affect it. However, excessive dirt might block the sensor - a quick wipe is enough.

Minor injuries don’t affect vein patterns. Large bandages might block scanning - customers can register their other palm as backup.
